What are the time restrictions for working as a driver?

To ensure the safety of the Lyft community, you must take a full continuous 6-hour break every 12 hours in driver mode. These 12 hours in driver mode do not have to be consecutive. If you are in driver mode for 12 hours, the system will not allow you to go online until you take this mandatory 6-hour break.
How is the cashback amount determined for gas and charging?

Your Lyft Rewards tier determines the cashback amount for gas and EV charging at public stations. Elite drivers can get 10% cash back on gas and 12% on EV charging. Platinum drivers get 7%, Gold drivers earn 3%, Silver drivers get 2%, and all other cardholders get 1%.
How to apply for a Lyft Direct card?

In the Lyft Driver app, tap Set up Lyft Direct. Once you confirm your personal information, Payfare will initiate an identity verification. If Payfare cannot verify your information, they will contact you to provide additional documents to complete your application. You will gain access to a virtual card as soon as you are approved, and you will also receive a physical card in the mail within 5–10 business days after your approval. Once approved, you can link your Lyft driver account to your Lyft Direct account by downloading the Lyft Direct app.
