Several new features help with this, such as Flashing trip requests, when you receive a new trip request, the app notifies you with a flashing indicator along with the standard sound notification. Rider notification is when the app informs riders that their driver is deaf or hard of hearing, which promotes better communication. Trip destination prompt is the function when drivers receive an additional prompt to enter the destination. This ensures all necessary information is received before the trip starts. Text-only messaging, drivers cannot call but can send text messages if they need to contact you, ensuring no important information is missed.
Does a driver receive additional payment for reserved trips?

Reserve riders pay a driver a premium for Uber Reserve trips as they need a reliable experience. An additional reservation fee and extra wait time are built into the Reserve fare. The Uber Driver app will notify the driver when it is time to go online and head to the pickup location for any Reserve trips they have accepted.

The Comfort vehicle option is designed to enhance the Uber platform experience. To be a Comfort driver, you must have a minimum rating of 4.85 stars and complete at least 100 trips. Uber cares about the safety of all users on the platform. If you are involved in an accident, first make sure everyone involved is safe. Immediately notify the police and call for an ambulance. Inform Uber about the accident so they can support you. The easiest way to report a crash is through the Driver app. Select the Safety Toolkit by tapping the blue shield symbol in the bottom left corner of the map, then tap Report a crash. Report what happened and submit your claim. Or to speak with trained support staff, choose Safety from the Help section of your app, then select Safety Incident Reporting Line.
Can I use other apps besides Uber while working?

This can include competitor apps to see what bonuses and guarantees they offer compared to your primary app, or downloading an events calendar for your city to know when it will be busy.
