How can I create an Uber account?

Creating an Uber account requires a valid email address and phone number. You’ll also need to create a password and agree to the terms and conditions and our privacy notice.
Fill in your first and last name, phone number, and preferred language.
Once you have completed this part of the registration process, we will send you a text message to verify your phone number.
Next, enter your payment details. Adding a credit or debit card number allows you to automatically charge your fare after each ride.
Once you've provided this information, we'll send you an email to confirm your account registration.
What should I do if my email is already in use?

If you receive an error message stating that your email is already in use, you may have previously signed up for an Uber account.
We recommend that users have only one Uber account for both Rides and Uber Eats.
What cars are eligible for Uber Comfort?

Most luxury vehicles could qualify for Uber Comfort. Here is the list of examples: Kia Soul, Dodge Durango, Dodge Caravan, BMW, Honda Odyssey, Toyota Rav4, Chevy Tahoe, Jeep, and Subaru Forester.
Can you use both UberX and Uber Comfort?

Yes, you can mix both types of rides to gain higher income. It is not obligatory to use only Uber Comfort, but still, prices for Uber Comfort rides would be higher.
What are the benefits of higher ratings?

If your average rating is 4.85 or higher and you have a luxury car you can qualify for a higher tier (such as UberBlack).
With better ratings, you can increase your Uber Pro status. Then you can get such rewards as cashback on gas or car maintenance savings.
Also with higher ratings, you get higher fees.
What is needed for higher ratings?

To get higher ratings you should fulfill the following criteria: clean vehicle (such as clean windows and removed stains), being safety-minded (keeping the safety of your passengers the highest priority), being a polite and punctual driver, providing luxuries for your passengers (such as hand-sanitizer or tissues), be attentive to their mood (either they are talkative or not, do they want to listen to the radio, etc.) and help them with luggage.
How can a driver achieve higher Uber Pro status?

You can earn points for 3 months. If you have enough points at the end of the period, you can move higher. (There are 4 different statuses: Blue, Gold, Platinum and Diamond).
What should I do if the trip is missing from the trip history?

There could be different reasons: if you work on Monday morning and have completed the ride before 4:00 a.m. it could be shown in the previous week’s statement. In some cases, it may take up to 48 hours for the trip to display in the App.
In which scenarios Uber doesn't charge the cancellation fee?

The cancellation fee is charged in all scenarios except two situations: the driver is currently dropping off another rider or the driver running late for more than 5 minutes (compared to the ETA shown at the time matching).
