How to sign up to drive with Uber?

You can sign up to drive with the rider app.
Once you’ve signed up, you can download the driver app from the link below. As a driver, you’ll receive ride requests using your driver app.
Driving your own vehicle, you’ll use the driver app to find riders at their pickup locations and drive them to their destinations around the city.
The driver app also keeps track of your fares. Uber makes it easy to transfer your earnings to your bank account.
What should I do if my email is already in use?

If you receive an error message stating that your email is already in use, you may have previously signed up for an Uber account.
We recommend that users have only one Uber account for both Rides and Uber Eats.
What cars are eligible for Uber Comfort?

Most luxury vehicles could qualify for Uber Comfort. Here is the list of examples: Kia Soul, Dodge Durango, Dodge Caravan, BMW, Honda Odyssey, Toyota Rav4, Chevy Tahoe, Jeep, and Subaru Forester.
Can you use both UberX and Uber Comfort?

Yes, you can mix both types of rides to gain higher income. It is not obligatory to use only Uber Comfort, but still, prices for Uber Comfort rides would be higher.
Does poor rating affect driver earnings?

One or two negative reviews won’t affect you immediately. But in case your rating drops lower than the region average you would get a warning from Uber about your situation as well as feedback so you know how to improve your rating. Also Uber may suggest third-party Quality Improvement courses to improve your ratings. In the long run, if your rating is still lower than average, you can lose Uber driver privileges.
What is needed for higher ratings?

To get higher ratings you should fulfill the following criteria: clean vehicle (such as clean windows and removed stains), being safety-minded (keeping the safety of your passengers the highest priority), being a polite and punctual driver, providing luxuries for your passengers (such as hand-sanitizer or tissues), be attentive to their mood (either they are talkative or not, do they want to listen to the radio, etc.) and help them with luggage.
What is a Boost?

Boost is a cash bonus that a driver can get for driving at certain times. For example, for every trip made between 5 pm and 6 pm, the driver would be paid an extra $2 per trip.
What should I do if the trip is missing from the trip history?

There could be different reasons: if you work on Monday morning and have completed the ride before 4:00 a.m. it could be shown in the previous week’s statement. In some cases, it may take up to 48 hours for the trip to display in the App.
Does the cancellation fee apply if the driver cancels the ride?

Yes, if the driver has been waiting at the rider’s pickup location for a specific amount of time. Depending on the ride’s type, waiting time differs: for most Economy types it is 5 minutes, for most Premium types - 15 minutes, for Comfort types - 10 minutes and for Shared rides - 2 minutes.
