How can I create an Uber account?

Creating an Uber account requires a valid email address and phone number. You’ll also need to create a password and agree to the terms and conditions and our privacy notice.
Fill in your first and last name, phone number, and preferred language.
Once you have completed this part of the registration process, we will send you a text message to verify your phone number.
Next, enter your payment details. Adding a credit or debit card number allows you to automatically charge your fare after each ride.
Once you've provided this information, we'll send you an email to confirm your account registration.
What should I do if my email is already in use?

If you receive an error message stating that your email is already in use, you may have previously signed up for an Uber account.
We recommend that users have only one Uber account for both Rides and Uber Eats.
What are the advantages of using Uber Comfort?

Typically, Uber Comfort means higher ratings, better reviews from passengers and the ability to earn higher tips.
Can you use both UberX and Uber Comfort?

Yes, you can mix both types of rides to gain higher income. It is not obligatory to use only Uber Comfort, but still, prices for Uber Comfort rides would be higher.
How far can you travel with Uber?

There's no distance limit, but you shouldn't ride for more than 8 hours.
What is needed for higher ratings?

To get higher ratings you should fulfill the following criteria: clean vehicle (such as clean windows and removed stains), being safety-minded (keeping the safety of your passengers the highest priority), being a polite and punctual driver, providing luxuries for your passengers (such as hand-sanitizer or tissues), be attentive to their mood (either they are talkative or not, do they want to listen to the radio, etc.) and help them with luggage.
What is Uber Pro?

Uber Pro is a special reward program that you can join if you make a lot of rides and have a high star rating. It allows you to get additional bonuses, such as cash back on gas and EV charging, access to Area Preferences, discounts with purchases at 7-Eleven, etc.
What should I do if I don't receive my payment on time?

Check your bank details, if there is any error, please, correct it. If payment still hasn’t arrived after 48 hours, you can contact Uber Support.
Can I get paid for waiting?

Yes, in some cases you can get paid for waiting for passengers. After waiting for 2 minutes you start earning a Wait Time. If there’s surge pricing, your Wait Time fee will be higher as well. Note: if the rider cancels and incurs a fee, they aren’t charged for the wait.
